The course introduces the students to machine learning. In particular, we will focus on neural networks and deep learning. The final goal is to achieve an introductory but solid understanding of how neural networks work as well as to learn how to implement neural networks in Python.
The course shall take place as a 4 SWS course spreading over half of the term. Dates: Nov 24, 28 / Dec 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19 / Jan 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30.
