This course is designed to be a truly interdisciplinary look at climate change through the lenses of both philosophy and economics. We will be studying many diverse issues in climate change, including climate change denial, factory farming, effects of global warming and deforestation. All the topics covered in the course will be examined through both an economic and philosophical perspective to try to bring the two disciplines together, showing how they intersect but also diverge on many topics. This course is designed to be highly interactive, so please come prepared to participate.
